About this program

The Berkshire Black Economic Council's Professional Expertise Grant pays for the professional services a growing business needs but often puts off: accountants and bookkeepers, website and digital services, grant writers, graphic design, legal expertise, marketing specialists, and consultants. It's open to Black-owned for-profit and non-profit businesses and entrepreneurs in Berkshire County, funded by a contribution from Mike and Rebecca Thompson, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis through BBEC's Submittable portal.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must be either for-profit or non-profit Black businesses or entrepreneurs inside Berkshire County.

Eligible uses of Professional Expertise include: Accountants/Bookkeeper, Website Developer/Digital Services Provider, Grant Writer, Graphic Design, Legal Expertise, Media/Marketing Specialist, Consultants, etc.
